Felix is a German producer, educated in International Producing at the renowned Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as the French La Fémis. During film school, he produced various short films that were screened at festivals such as Sundance, Riga, Warsaw and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, forming long-term alliances with upcoming directors and screenwriters. His first feature film, Beyond the Blue Border, won three awards including the Audience Award at the esteemed German Max Ophüls Preis. Since the summer of 2022, Felix has been part of Sommerhaus Filmproduktion, focusing on European independent cinema. One of his current projects in development, Pas Ta Maman by Swiss Locarno winner Michèle Flury, won the Market Breakout Award at the Locarno Film Festival in 2023. In 2024, Felix was selected for the ‘Match Me!’ producer program in Locarno.
