During a shootout at the port of Barcelona, young and ambitious police officer Clara Romero (Lina Rusnak) is shot dead. Everything points to Clara having disrupted a drug deal, leading to a gunfight in which not only she but also one of the drug dealers was killed. The second dealer is in a coma. Case closed? Not so fast. Detective Fina Valent (Anne Schäfer) realizes that another person must have been at the crime scene—the one who fired the fatal shots. Marcos Cuaron (Alexander Brendemühl), head of the Organized Crime Unit and Clara’s superior, is impressed by Fina. And Fina, in turn, finds herself drawn to the charismatic man. As Fina and her colleague Xavi Bonet (Clemens Schick) work to track down Clara’s killer, the tension between Fina and Marcos grows. But just as she starts to put the pieces together, Fina discovers that the real threat is coming from an unexpected direction—will she realize it in time?
